Production Meets Precision

Threecore led the full coordination and execution of civil and vertical construction for CarMax’s first stand-alone reconditioning and auction center in the Phoenix market—an essential addition to the brand’s regional operations. The team oversaw all sitework, including underground utilities, stormwater retention, paving, and LED lighting, before erecting the steel-framed structure housing 18 reconditioning bays, photo / detail booths, auction lanes, and a closed-loop car wash. Inside, the facility integrates conditioned office space and infrastructure for future-forward operations, including solar-ready roofing and high-capacity electrical to support EV charging. With over two dozen specialty trades involved, Threecore maintained tight scheduling and trade coordination to keep the project on pace for CarMax’s Spring 2025 launch.
